It has everything necessary to be both an advanced SCOTTY video-communication system and portable video receive station – using a milspec processor, the SCOTTY hardware codec, and housed in a waterproof case.

The SCOTTY Mobile HD is the ultimate solution to your video-communication needs. It features a mil-spec PC, high speed data transfer system, digital video recording, H.323 videoconferencing, and data conferencing in a ruggedized, deployable unit. This popular unit is unique; it is both versatile and tough, absolutely ideal for doing successful work in the field.

The SCOTTY Mobile HD is an electromagnetically shielded, shock-resistant video-communication unit with a high intensity fourteen-inch display. It is truly an all-in-one unit; long-lasting batteries, multiple audio/video interface board, HD camera, speaker, microphone, and hardware video codec are all built in. The SCOTTY Teleport software manages numerous in/outputs for external audio and video.

The SCOTTY Mobile HD has been deployed throughout the world making it easy for personnel to receive surveillance video, set up tele-conferences, share data, transmit imagery, and take care of business remotely, in the field, under the toughest conditions. For example, together with a portable satellite system, the Mobile HD can be used anywhere in the world for applications such as video surveillance, command and control, tele-medicine, remote working, VIP comms, etc. It can either work alone, using its internal on-board equipment, or can be connected to outside peripherals such as hand-held cameras, medical equipment, PC compatible devices, microphones, monitors, and encryption.
